Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector for a 12-month contract in Malabar, FL (Onsite/2nd shift/Mon-Thur/3:30pm-2am). You will identify quality discrepancies, lead audits and develop inspection methods to ensure product quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 months of experience, soldering expertise, and must be available for W-2 engagement. This role focuses on manufacturing quality control and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred; technical training in soldering or fiber cabling.
• Minimum of 5 months of experience.
• Soldering experience is required.
• Open to applicants on a W-2 basis only.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Facilitate standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating product quality.
• Lead internal audits within manufacturing controls to ensure compliance with specs.
• Liaise with auditing groups to develop written reports and corrective actions.
• Identify trends in discrepancies and collaborate with process owners on improvements.
• Oversee testing department activities and inspector work.
• Review and control work order flow tags.
• Develop inspection techniques, tools, and instructions.
• Participate in supplier corrective and preventative actions and change control.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Quality Inspector.

Position Type: Full time contract, Possible Contract to Hire Duration: 12months Location: Malabar, FL 32950 (Onsite/2nd shift/Mon-Thur/3:30pm-2am)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products.
• Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
• Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners on the refinement and optimization of business processes.
• Oversees testing department activities and work of inspectors.
• Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow tags.
• Develops inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods and procedures.
• Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including: customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• High School Diploma Preferred: Technical training in soldering or fiber cabling.
• Minimum of 5 months of Experience. Entry-level professional with broad theoretical job knowledge.
• Works under general direction and guidance within standard processes for non-routine tasks.
• Communicates with contacts in own team to explain and interpret information.
• Contributes to systems and processes changes in work routines.
• Works to achieve operational targets that impact team results.
• Soldering experience is required.
• This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range

Pay Range*: $30-33/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
