Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced Quality Leader to support the Advanced Casting Foundry in Asheville, NC. You will lead quality engineering efforts, drive improvements with DMAIC/CORE and Lean methods, and ensure compliance with FAA, AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.

This onsite role requires extensive experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage resources to meet customer demand while advancing quality and cost metrics within a new internal product line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree with 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years in a Quality Engineering role.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive culture of compliance through collaboration with Operations and Manufacturing teams.
• Lead Asheville site to drive improvements and resolve quality issues to closure.
• Lead DMAIC, CORE and Lean projects to enhance quality, reduce cycle time and lower costs.
• Establish required QMS improvements to support the new product line.
• Support FAA & AS9100 scope expansion.
