Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is constructing an Advanced Casting Foundry (ACF) within its Asheville, NC factory. We’re looking for an experienced Quality Leader for this greenfield business.

Lead the quality organization and build out a high-performing team covering Inspection, NDT, MRB, Gage Calibration, and Metrology. Drive DMAIC, CORE and Lean improvements to meet customer demand and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality team operations to meet business goals.
• Drive compliance culture with Operations and Manufacturing.
• Develop and equip the Quality team across Inspection, NDT, MRB, Gage Calibration, Metrology and MCL.
• Secure resources to meet long-range and short-term goals.
• Oversee daily decisions and resource allocation to satisfy customer demand.
• Lead process improvements using DMAIC, CORE and Lean strategies.
• Provide expertise on non-conforming materials and MRB processes.
• Collaborate to align with customer demand and business metrics.
• Define plans supporting Quality, CORE and financial metrics.
