Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is constructing an Advanced Casting Foundry in Asheville, NC and seeks a seasoned Quality Leader to drive a compliant, high-performance quality organization. You will lead Inspection, MRB, Gage Calibration, Metrology and more, coordinating with Operations to meet customer demand.

Candidates should bring a Bachelor's or Advanced Degree with 5–8+ years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and expertise in AS9100/ISO 9001, FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA and GD&T.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years' experience.
Demonstrated leadership & management experience.
Knowledgeable / experienced in AS9100 / ISO 9001 Quality systems.
Working knowledge of quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, GD&T elements.
Experienced in root cause corrective action and eliminating non-conformances.

Responsibilities

Lead the quality team to achieve business goals and ensure compliance across operations and manufacturing.
Drive process improvements using DMAIC, CORE, and Lean strategies to reduce cycle time and costs.
Provide technical expertise on non-conforming material and support MRB processing and communication with other teams.
