Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is constructing an Advanced Casting Foundry in Asheville, NC, and seeks an experienced Quality Leader to join the Quality Engineering team and Clinic function supporting this greenfield operation.

You will drive compliance, lead improvements with DMAIC/CORE/Lean, guide the MRB process, and align QA activities with Operations to meet customer demand, FAA/AS9100 expansion, and financial metrics while mentoring site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree with 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3+ years in a Quality Engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Drive culture of compliance with Operations and Manufacturing teams.
• Lead Asheville site to address quality issues to closure.
• Lead process improvement using DMAIC, CORE and Lean strategies.
• Identify QMS improvements to support the new product line.
• Support FAA & AS9100 scope expansion.
• Oversee resource allocation to meet customer demand.
• Guide MRB processes for non-conforming material and alerts.
