Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney Advanced Casting Foundry in Asheville, NC is seeking a seasoned Quality Leader to guide the Quality Engineering team and support clinic functions for a greenfield operation.

You will drive compliance culture, lead improvements using DMAIC/Lean, and oversee MRB processes, ensuring quality across the new product line while aligning with FAA & AS9100 scope expansion. Onsite role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years in quality engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years in a quality engineering leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Drive compliance culture with Operations and Manufacturing.
• Lead Asheville site to resolve quality issues to closure.
• Lead DMAIC/CORE/Lean improvements to reduce cycle time and cost.
• Identify QMS improvements for new internal product line.
• Support FAA & AS9100 scope expansion.
• Oversee resources to meet customer demand.
• Provide technical expertise on non-conforming material and MRB processing.
• Collaborate with operations and materials teams for alignment.
• Communicate effectively as a leader in Quality and ACF.
