Cleveland-Cliffs Coatesville, PA invites applications for a Quality Engineering Intern. You will work alongside industry leaders, tackling real-world problems and building professional connections with potential for future full-time employment.

Projects will vary by education level and plant location, but will include safety inspections, lab workflow, calibrations, and data-mining in metallurgical data to support production quality and process improvements.

Formación

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or other related technical degree.
• Completion of at least sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027.

Responsabilidades

• Complete monthly safety inspections and safety observations for the Metallurgical Department.
• Work safely and assure plant safety policies are followed.
• Manage workflow in the mechanical and chemical test lab.
• Manage test equipment calibrations.
• Create new operating efficiencies to maintain production, testing, and shipping with a leaner workforce.
• Maintain Steelmaking spectrometer lab, calibration, and on-call support.
• Responsible for data-mining investigations with metallurgical grade performance, chemistry, scrap charges, etc.
• Responsible for Metallurgical investigations and 3rd party testing inspections.

Educación

Bachelor of Science in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemistry or related technical degree
