Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or related field.
• Sophomore year completed by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly safety inspections and observations in Metallurgical Dept.
• Ensure adherence to plant safety policies and safe work practices.
• Manage workflow in the mechanical and chemical test lab.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment.
• Support production, testing, and shipping with lean processes.
• Maintain steelmaking spectrometer lab and on-call support.
• Assist metallurgical investigations and data mining of performance metrics.
• Coordinate with third-party testing and inspections.
