ABB is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead technical design authority and customer-facing efforts for Critical Power projects. You will guide engineering deliverables and coordinate with service, factory, and product management to resolve quality issues while upholding safety and contractual requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field, 7+ years in electrical distribution/power systems, fluency in English, and up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical distribution or power systems (master's degree reduces experience by 2 years).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Teams; able to leverage AI tools in job functions.

Responsabilités

• Serve as ABB's primary customer contact for quality and technical issues; lead communications and on-site support.
• Act as the technical and design authority for engineering deliverables on moderate- to high-complexity projects.
• Review and approve designs; perform verifications and peer reviews; ensure safety, quality, and contractual compliance.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges; communicate gaps and market needs to product management.
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, testing, service, supply chain, sales, and product management to ensure project execution.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects including work plans, cost estimates, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and timely delivery of outputs.
