Job summary

You will collaborate with engineering, factory, service, and product management teams to ensure compliant designs and timely delivery, with 40% travel and remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 7+ years in electrical distribution or power systems.
• Master's degree with 5+ years in electrical distribution or power systems.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Teams; ability to leverage AI tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ABB's primary customer contact for quality and technical issues; lead communications and onsite support.
• Act as the technical and design authority for engineering deliverables on moderate- to high-complexity projects.
• Review and approve designs; perform verification and peer reviews; ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges; communicate product gaps to commercial and product teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, service, supply chain, sales, and product management.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, including work plans, cost estimates, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and contract variations.
