Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking a Quality Engineer II to join the Component Solutions team in North America. You will support product quality and reliability through testing, failure analysis, and quality investigations, coordinating with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work across multiple functions and global teams.
• Korean and English bilingual communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform product and compressor testing to evaluate performance, quality, and reliability.
• Conduct teardown and failure analysis of returned products and components to identify root causes.
• Investigate customer complaints, field returns, warranty claims, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare quality reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Serve as primary quality contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Collaborate with internal Quality Assurance, Sales Engineering, and global teams to resolve issues.
• Recommend and implement improvements to testing procedures and manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Participate in quality meetings with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
