Job summary

SRM Concrete in the United States is hiring Quality Control Technicians to help ensure our ready mix concrete meets stringent quality standards for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.

From testing materials to training production staff, you will document results, collaborate with teams, and stay current on industry regulations. We provide on-the-job training, opportunities for growth, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work variable shifts, including day and overnight pours.
• On-the-job training provided for entry-level candidates.
• ACI certification, or willingness to obtain it, is a plus.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Concrete Management, or Construction Management is preferred but not required.
• Previous QC/QA or construction materials experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with quality management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished concrete using industry-standard methods.
• Interpret test results and compare them to specifications and control limits.
• Conduct visual inspections of concrete products for quality compliance.
• Collaborate with production and operations to troubleshoot quality issues.
• Deliver quality control training to production staff as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate records of tests, analyses, and quality activities.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to improve QC processes.
