Job summary

SRM Concrete is hiring Quality Control Technicians to help ensure our ready-mix concrete meets industry standards for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. You will perform material testing, interpret results, and inspect products while collaborating with production teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Concrete Management, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required.
• ACI certification, or willingness to obtain it, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished ready mix concrete using industry-standard methods.
• Interpret test results and compare them to established specifications and control limits.
• Conduct visual inspections of concrete products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
• Deliver quality control training to production staff as directed by management or technical services.
• Maintain accurate records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to help improve our quality control processes.
