Job summary

ASRC Industrial (AIS) Infrastructure Group seeks an Assistant Quality Control Manager for a major heavy civil construction project. You will support the Quality Control Manager, review design and construction documents, and implement QA/QC protocols in the field to ensure quality and safety.

Travel to multiple project sites will be required. The role requires at least 5 years in construction QC, with 2–3 years in heavy civil work, a related bachelor's degree, and strong knowledge of testing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with construction quality control, with 2-3 years on heavy civil projects.
• Familiarity with soil and concrete testing; knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations.
• Ability to assist with field and office engineer responsibilities; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Control Manager across all aspects of projects.
• Review construction and design documents for compliance.
• Implement QA/QC protocol during construction via submittals, RFIs, inspections, and testing in the field.
• Enforce compliance with quality standards; oversee subcontractors.
• Maintain project documentation and reports; coordinate with PMs, contractors, and clients.
