Job summary

The AIS Infrastructure Group seeks a Quality Control Manager to oversee QC across heavy civil projects. You will develop plans, perform inspections, and coordinate soil and concrete testing to ensure quality and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QC leadership within construction, strong attention to detail, and the ability to guide subcontractors on diverse sites. Procore/Unifier familiarity is preferred; civil engineering degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as QC Manager/Superintendent/PM.
• Experience coordinating soil and concrete testing.
• Ability to obtain security clearance for secure facilities (military bases).
• Experience managing subcontractors or teams of 2+ people.
• Familiarity with QC tools, equipment, and software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QC plans, procedures, and guidelines for heavy civil projects.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate soil and concrete testing documentation.
• Identify non-conformities and corrective actions with project teams.
• Review project documents for QC alignment and records accuracy.
• Provide QC guidance and training to personnel.
• Monitor QC measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Generate reports on quality performance metrics.
• Participate in quality meetings to improve project quality.
