Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Manager to enforce quality standards across heavy civil construction and site development projects. You will develop QC plans, perform audits, coordinate soil and concrete testing, and drive corrective actions with project teams to ensure safety, compliance, and client satisfaction.

The role requires at least 5 years managing quality programs in construction, familiarity with QC tools, and the ability to obtain security clearances

Qualifications

• Strong construction quality control management experience with 5+ years in QC/PM roles.
• Familiarity with soil and concrete testing and coordinating tests.
• Ability to obtain security clearance for secure facilities, including military bases.
• Experience managing subcontractors or small teams.
• Knowledge of QC principles, methodologies, and best practices in heavy civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans and guidelines for heavy civil projects.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards and specs.
• Coordinate soil and concrete testing documentation and scheduling.
• Identify/ address quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to improve quality performance and records.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation reflecting work completed.
• Provide guidance on QC practices and deliver training to personnel.
• Monitor quality control measures across the project lifecycle.
• Generate reports to track quality metrics and participate in QC meetings.
