Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group in the United States is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Manager to oversee QC across heavy civil construction and industrial services projects. You will develop procedures, conduct inspections, identify issues, and lead corrective actions to ensure adherence to standards and customer satisfaction.

Requires 10+ years in construction QC, two federal design-build projects and two $10M+ projects, BS in Civil Eng/Construction Mgmt, and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction with focus on quality control.
• Experience on at least 2 federal design-build projects and at least 2 projects ≥ $10M.
• Ability to obtain security clearance for access to secured facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of QC tools, materials, methods, and best practices in construction.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures for heavy civil construction and industrial services projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and address quality issues, non-conformities, or deficiencies in processes, materials, or workmanship.
• Collaborate with project teams to establish corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with quality requirements.
• Provide guidance and training on quality control practices to project personnel.
• Monitor implementation of QC measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Generate reports and documentation to track quality performance metrics.
• Participate in quality-related meetings and contribute to overall project quality.
