McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician / Inspector to perform construction materials testing, quality control inspections, and field documentation for concrete, earthwork, electrical, and environmental scopes of work.

The role is based out of Poston, AZ, with field responsibilities across projects and a strong emphasis on safety and quality. Required are 5+ years in material sampling and testing, ACI Field Testing Technician – Grade 1, OSHA 10, and the ability to read plans,

Qualificações

• 5+ years in material sampling, testing and construction inspection.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs and related documents.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect grading, forms, reinforcing steel placement and embedded items before concrete placement.
• Perform field testing and sampling such as temperature, air content, unit weight, yield and concrete cylinder sampling.
• Document testing results and field observations accurately.
• Inspect concrete placement, finishing and curing operations for compliance.
• Verify work against approved plans and project requirements.
• Maintain records of testing and inspection activities.
