Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for the Knoxville, TN facility. You will perform qualification testing on materials, record QC data, and issue certificates of analysis while maintaining instrument control and safety standards.

You will back up colleagues, participate in continuous improvement, and support lab housekeeping and supply management. A strong attention to detail and ability to work rotating shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with related science/engineering coursework or experience.
• Experience with lab data management and quality databases preferred.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or lab environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final, shipment final, and special request samples.
• Record QC data in SAP and lab databases and issue analysis certificates.
• Ensure test equipment is in control and take corrective actions as needed.
• Back-up other analysts and maintain lab housekeeping and safety standards.
