Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for the Knoxville, TN plant. The role involves performing qualification testing with advanced lab instrumentation, recording QC data, and issuing certificates of analysis.

The candidate will back up teammates and maintain lab housekeeping to high standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma with science/engineering coursework or relevant experience, be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, and be eligible to work in the United States

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one or more of: 2-year college degree in relevant science/engineering; 3 years military experience; 2 years lab experience; 2 years in chemical manufacturing plants.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• U.S. legal work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final, shipment final, and special samples.
• Record QC data on lab requests and SAP worksheets.
• Prepare and issue certificates of analysis.
• Back-up other analysts and maintain lab housekeeping.
