Dow Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for its Knoxville, TN plant. The role involves performing qualification testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products using advanced lab instrumentation, recording data in quality databases, and issuing certificates of analysis.

The candidate should be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and maintain lab housekeeping to high standards. Qualifications include a HS diploma and 2-year science/engineering degree or equivalent experience,

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma and one or more: 2-year science/engineering degree, 3 years military experience, 2 years lab experience, or 2 years in chemical manufacturing plants.

Responsabilités

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final, shipment final, and special samples.
• Test according to written test methods.
• Record QC data in SAP worksheets and lab requests.
• Issue certificates/letters of analysis.
• Maintain equipment in control and perform minor repairs.
• Back-up other analysts and support housekeeping.
