Job summary

Dow is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for its Knoxville plant. Requirements include a high school diploma with relevant science/engineering exposure or equivalent, and experience in lab settings or chemical manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with science/engineering exposure preferred.
• 2-year degree in science/engineering is a plus.
• Military or lab experience can substitute for formal education.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing supports role performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final, shipment final, and special samples.
• Follow written test methods and record QC data in SAP worksheets.
• Issue certificates/letters of analysis and ensure equipment is in control.
• Provide quality training and back up other analysts as needed.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and test methods; support corrective actions and continuous improvement.
