Job summary

Great Dane LLC is seeking a Quality Manager to own the plant-level Quality system under the Plant Manager and Corporate Director of Quality. You will govern quality gates, KPIs, and governance to ensure product quality and reliability at the Terre Haute location.

You will lead cross-functional teams, implement short- and long-term quality strategies, and drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methods. Travel to support HRIS implementations and other needs may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of related experience or training in quality/manufacturing.
• ISO, TS16949 knowledge and quality systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive product quality management program (QA and QC) for the manufacturing location.
• Collaborate with leadership for planning, execution, and oversight of the quality program and continuous improvement.
• Define and implement short- and long-term quality strategies, goals, and tactics.
• Develop/maintain quality KPIs including Quality Gates and KPI analysis.
• Use Lean Alert processes to drive quality improvements and address issues.
• Support Lean Manufacturing goals and apply lean tools to improve operations.
• Analyze statistical data and specifications to set quality targets and improve reliability.
• Coordinate with other functions to minimize costs and maximize product quality.
