Job summary

Great Dane is seeking a Quality Manager to own the quality system at the plant level under the Plant Manager and Corporate Director of Quality. You will ensure effective execution and governance using quality gates and KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• ASQ CQE/CQM certification is a plus.
• Experience in quality systems, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive product quality management program for the Great Dane manufacturing location.
• Collaborate with leadership for planning, execution, and oversight of quality management and continuous improvement.
• Define and implement short- and long-term quality strategies, goals, and tactics.
• Develop and maintain quality KPIs including Quality Gates; analyze for improvement opportunities.
• Lead Lean initiatives and drive quality improvements across processes and products.
• Provide quality engineering support to operations and resolve quality issues.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Maintenance on customer concerns.
