Job summary

Great Dane, a leading trailer manufacturer in the United States, seeks a Quality Manager to own the plant-level Quality system and drive governance through KPI performance. Reporting to the Plant Manager and Corporate Director of Quality, you will lead QA/QC, Lean initiatives, and supplier-customer quality alignment.

You will partner with engineering and operations to define critical features, ensure manufacturability, and continually improve product quality while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in Continuous Improvement or advanced quality systems leadership; manufacturing exp. preferred.
• ASQ CQE/CQM certification preferred; built-in quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive quality management program (QA and QC) for the manufacturing location.
• Collaborate with leadership for planning, execution, and continuous process improvement.
• Define and implement short- and long-term quality strategies, goals, and tactics.
• Maintain KPIs and Quality Gates; analyze data to optimize performance.
• Lead Lean initiatives to drive quality improvements and resolve issues.
