Job summary

Great Dane seeks a Quality Manager to own the plant-level quality system, driving governance, KPIs and Lean/continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll lead effort across QA/QC, collaborate with leadership, and implement long-range quality strategies to maximize reliability and reduce costs.

You will oversee inspection/test activities, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure strong safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering; other technical degrees accepted.
• 3–5 years of related experience or training, or equivalent.
• ISO/TS16949 quality system experience and CQE/CQM certification preferred.
• Build in quality experience and KPI management; Lean, 6S and continuous improvement.
• Data analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and problem solving expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive product quality management program for the plant.
• Collaborate with leadership for planning and oversight of quality programs.
• Define and implement short- and long-term quality strategies and KPIs.
• Lead quality gates, audits, and data analysis to drive improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Provide quality engineering support to operations and supplier interactions.
• Promote lean manufacturing goals and sustain process improvements.
• Lead training on product quality and reliability.
