Modine in Minnesota seeks a Quality Manager – Plant Operations to lead quality assurance and continuous improvement across the manufacturing plant. You will drive ISO 9001 compliance, implement Six Sigma and CIP programs, and mentor quality engineers to optimize processes and reduce defects.

You will collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure NDAs and regulatory requirements are met, while fostering a culture of accountability and ownership in quality across the plant.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5+ years in quality engineering in manufacturing (HVAC/refrigeration preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ASHRAE standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership in quality teams and strategic initiatives.
• Expertise in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and advanced quality methods.
• Hands-on experience with welding, brazing, assembly, and testing.
• Proficiency in quality data analysis tools (Minitab/JMP).
• Excellent communication and leadership with cross-functional influence.

Aufgaben

• Lead plant quality strategy aligned with business goals and customer requirements.
• Manage QMS to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and industry standards.
• Oversee quality improvements reducing defects, scrap, and rework via data-driven methods.
• Lead RCCA, CAPA, and CIP to address recurring issues.
• Implement SPC, FMEA, and DOE to drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to enhance DFM and NPI quality.
• Develop and mentor the quality team of engineers and technicians.
• Drive supplier quality initiatives including audits and CAPA.
• Monitor KPI’s and report insights to plant leadership.
• Serve as liaison for customer quality concerns and audits.
