Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Quality Compliance Engineer to own and advance the QA management system for Battlespace Awareness. You will work with auditors, customers, and suppliers to ensure compliant, reliable products meeting all mission requirements.

The role spans product and system work, including supplier oversight, first article inspections, MRB, and field escapes. A strong QMS background and hands-on quality focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of aerospace and/or defense manufacturing experience.
• Deep knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in a complex product environment — AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015.
• Certified AS9100D internal auditor or able to certify within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrated ownership of a corrective action system, not just participation.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and U.S. Person status for export-controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Own BA quality management system top-level processes, keeping docs current, compliant, and used.
• Lead QMS planning: objectives, risk management, and management review cycles.
• Own internal audit program end-to-end, including scheduling and closure.
• Manage supplier and external provider audit program, including on-site and remote audits.
• Support product quality engineering on first article inspections and MRB dispositions.
• Manage registrar relationship and certification cycle, including surveillance.
• Own quality KPIs and dashboards, reporting to leadership on a monthly cadence.
• Run 6S and FOD audits on the production floor and oversee ESD/counterfeit programs.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions from audits.
• Develop QMS training packages and maintain records.
• Collaborate with product/manufacturing during NPD to meet QMS requirements.
• Develop internal QMS roadmap to scale with the company.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for QMS and product quality.
