Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior QMS Engineer to own and advance the quality management system for Battlespace Awareness. You will drive AS9100D/ISO 9001:2015 compliance, lead internal and supplier audits, and collaborate with Product Quality Engineering to correct issues at their source.

You will manage registrar relationships, define top-level QA KPIs, and ensure quality processes scale with the business while supporting government and private customer audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015 and related quality systems.
• Experience with ESD, FOD, and counterfeit programs and GIDEP, FAR/ASSIST is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the BA quality management system and its top-level processes—keeping procedures, work instructions, and records current and compliant.
• Lead QMS planning: quality objectives, risk and opportunity management, and Management Review cycle with actionable outputs.
• Own the internal audit program end to end across certification cycles and drive verified closures.
• Build and manage supplier audit programs and drive corrective actions with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality teams.
• Support first article inspection (AS9102), nonconforming material disposition, and investigations with Product Quality Engineering.
• Oversee registrar relationships, surveillance and recertification scheduling, and customer audit responses.
• Define and report QA KPIs monthly to site and division leadership and build dashboards for visibility.
• Conduct 6S and FOD audits on the production floor and manage ESD and counterfeit prevention programs.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions from audits and customer visits.
• Develop QMS documentation hierarchy, training packages, and maintain training records.
