Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Quality Systems Engineer to own and advance the QA management system for Battlespace Awareness, aligning it with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015. The role blends shop-floor oversight, supplier audits, and continuous improvement across production and product teams.

You’ll lead internal and supplier audits, define KPIs, and drive corrective actions while partnering with Product Quality Engineering to resolve quality issues at the source. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in a complex product environment.
• Trained AS9100D internal auditor or able to certify within 90 days.
• Ownership of a corrective action system and end-to-end audits.
• Experience with ERP/PLM/BI systems and building quality reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the BA quality management system and processes, keep docs current and compliant.
• Lead QMS planning, objectives, risk management, and Management Review cycles.
• Own internal audit program end to end and drive findings to closure.
• Own supplier/audit program, perform on-site and remote audits, drive corrective actions.
• Support first article inspection, nonconforming material, and MRB disposition.
• Manage registrar relations and certification cycles, and participate in customer audits.
• Own quality KPIs and build dashboards for leadership review.
• Run 6S and FOD audits on the production floor and manage prevention programs.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions from audits and field visits.
• Develop QMS training, document controls, and maintain training records.
• Partner with product/manufacturing during new product development for QMS readiness.
• Develop internal QMS roadmap and harmonize BA with enterprise procedures.
