Job summary

ExamWorks, located in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Case Coordinator to ensure medical reports meet the highest standards of accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance. You will assist the Quality Assurance Department and support QA questions as needed.

The role emphasizes following client instructions, citing sources, and maintaining confidentiality, with an 8:30 am–5:00 pm CST schedule at the Dallas office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical or related field experience.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry preferred, particularly claims management related to workers' compensation, no-fault, liability, disability.
• Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and laboratory values.
• Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 WPM.
• Must be able to operate a computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel and Internet.
• Excellent English usage, grammar, punctuation and style.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality assurance review of reports, correspondences, addendums or supplemental reviews.
• Provides evidence-based rationales for recommendations and determinations.
• Ensures client instructions and specifications are followed and questions addressed.
• Supports reports with current clinical citations from reputable journals.
• Ensures reports meet company standards for content, format and appearance.
• Verifies appropriate board specialty review per client specs/state mandates.
• Confirms peer reviewer attestations and absence of conflicts of interest.
• Ensures provider credentials and signatures are correct on final reports.
• Identifies inconsistencies and coordinates with peer reviewers for corrections.
• Assists in resolving customer complaints and quality issues.
• Ensures ERISA and/or state mandates are adhered to.
• Provides management with quality and compliance insights.
• Supports resource efficiency and policy compliance.
