Job summary

ExamWorks, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator (RN) to review peer reports and ensure evidence-based, compliant final documents. The role emphasizes independent work from a remote home office with standard M-F hours and strong attention to clinical details.

You will verify references, ensure board specialty alignment, and communicate with peers as needed to maintain quality. Qualified RNs with medical terminology knowledge and Office software skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing license is required.
• Strong medical terminology, anatomy, physiology knowledge.
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent English usage, grammar and style.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports, correspondences, addendums or supplemental reviews.
• Ensure clear, evidence-based rationales support recommendations and determinations.
• Follow client instructions and address all questions.
• Ensure reports have clinical citations from reputable journals.
• Maintain high quality content, formatting and appearance per standards.
• Verify appropriate board specialty review and accurate documentation.
• Verify reviewer attestation and absence of conflicts of interest.
• Ensure provider credentials and signature adherence.
• Identify inconsistencies and request clarifications as needed.
• Assist in resolving client complaints and QA issues.
• Adhere to ERISA and state mandates at all times.
• Provide management with insights on quality and compliance.
• Promote efficient use of company resources.
• Participate in educational or training activities.
