Job summary

ExamWorks is hiring a Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator to analyze medical records and craft concise, evidence-based summaries that impact client decisions. The role emphasizes nursing expertise, accuracy, and attention to detail while supporting quality assurance across peer reviews and client instructions.

Remote work is available with Monday–Friday hours (7:30am–4:00pm CT). The position requires strong medical knowledge, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

Nursing license required.
Professional writing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, medications and lab values.

Responsibilities

Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports, correspondences, addendums or supplemental reviews.
Ensure clear, concise, evidence-based rationales support all recommendations/determinations.
Ensure client instructions are followed and all questions addressed.
Cite clinical references for reviews and verify sources are current.
Maintain high-quality reports per company standards and formatting.
