Waters of Columbia City is hiring a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a compassionate elder care setting. You will follow safety protocols, document treatment and monitor residents’ responses, ensuring timely reporting to the nurse.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have current QMA license.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications with safety techniques and sound judgment under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Observe residents for drug reactions and report concerns to the nurse immediately.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and document findings.
• Calculate medication dosages and stock the medication cart.
• Document medications given on MAR and report instructions to nurse.
• Audit documentation for accuracy and timeliness of recordings.
