Job summary

The Waters of Batesville is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role requires attention to safety, accurate documentation, and compassionate resident care.

Responsibilities include observing residents, monitoring vital signs, and contributing to med pass audits. Must have a high school diploma and a valid QMA license; flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have current, unencumbered QMA state license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed under nurse supervision.
• Observe residents for drug reactions and report concerns to the nurse.
• Document medications given on MAR and communicate responses to nursing staff.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and adjust care per policy.
• Assist with med pass audits and ensure timely, accurate records.
