Job summary

LGC Biosearch Technologies, based in the United States, seeks a Supervisor of Quality Control to lead the QC Chemistry and Oligonucleotide QC analytics labs. You will drive high-throughput testing, ensure compliant documentation, and align testing with production and quality goals.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and GMP/ISO knowledge to support continuous improvement in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant analytical/science field.
• Regulated Quality Control lab experience and leadership ability.
• Experience with analytical testing of chemicals and oligonucleotides.
• Proficiency with HPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis spectroscopy, DNA synthesizers, pH meters.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, GDP and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple Quality Control lab teams and functions.
• Assign work, train staff, support recruiting and succession planning.
• Develop capacity planning and cross-training aligned to production needs.
• Oversee analytical testing and ensure results meet specs and customer needs.
• Review results and support product disposition decisions.
