Job summary

Regions seeks a Quality Assurance Testing Manager to lead software testing strategy and activities across the organization, supporting the application development organization and collaborating with key associates in determining overall testing needs and strategy development.

Responsibilities include developing strategic test plans, managing test cases, coordinating with analysts, and ensuring compliance with documentation standards while driving process improvements and coordinating with TODD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with 8+ years QA experience or HS diploma with 12+ years QA experience.
• Advanced knowledge of software testing methodologies and test case design.
• Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, or ALM.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of Regions’ testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic plans for testing applications systems across the organization.
• Manages comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test case scenarios for new and existing products.
• Collaborates with analysts in deciphering test data and implementing improvements or modifications to better meet customer needs.
• Ensures that team is in compliance with documentation policies and procedures.
• Develops and effectively implements process improvement strategies in collaboration with teams to develop effective testing solutions.
• Oversees application testing and post-production validation activities, utilizing manual and automated methodologies as appropriate.
• Collaborates with teams responsible for non-functional testing activities, including performance testing, conformance testing, and pen testing.
• Oversees complex testing projects and contributes as lead subject‑matter expert.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgement in addressing issues or knowledge gaps.
• Collaborates with senior management in addressing staffing needs.
• Partners across Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data to strengthen risk management and cyber security.
