Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Lead to support the application development organization by shaping test strategy and managing testing coordination for projects. The role may lead teams of varying sizes across multiple applications, driving quality metrics and process improvements.

You will oversee test planning, execution, and vendor coordination, ensuring adherence to QA standards and integrating with test automation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with four (4) years of quality or related experience
• Or High School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of quality or related experience
• Experience leading QA projects and coordinating test activities
• Familiarity with QA standards, test automation, and defect management

Responsibilities

• Leads Regions' projects from a QA standpoint coordinating with PM, development teams, risk and audit
• Designs test strategy and planning for projects or applications
• Coordinates test planning, creation, and execution
• Provides test management guidance and metrics
• Defines and manages defect workflow and QA health scores
• Onboards QA talent onsite and offshore as needed
• Reviews and manages vendor contracts and input for onboarding external resources
