Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Lead to support application development by shaping test strategy, testing approaches, and resource planning. You will coordinate functional and non-functional testing, mentor QA teams, and align with risk, compliance, and audit requirements.

The role requires coordinating test activities, selecting tools, and establishing quality metrics; onsite/offshore onboarding may be involved.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4 years of quality or related experience
Or High School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of quality or related experience
Experience designing test strategy and test planning for projects
Ability to lead QA efforts and coordinate test activities across teams
Familiarity with Regions’ testing standards and software testing methodologies
Knowledge of test automation and use of test management tools (Azure DevOps, qTest, Jira, ALM)

Responsibilities

Leads QA efforts for Regions projects, coordinating with PMs, development teams, business units, Compliance, Risk and Audit
Designs test strategy and planning for projects or applications
Coordinates test planning, creation, and execution
Provides test management guidance and defines QA metrics
Defines and manages defect workflows and QA health scores
Assists in onboarding QA talent (onsite/offshore) and reviews vendor contracts
