Job summary

Mortgage-Trade-Holding-Company, LLC seeks a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to lead a team of QA analysts and automation specialists across the software development lifecycle. You will translate delivery priorities into practical test plans, supervise execution, and collaborate with Product Owners, Development, DevOps, and business users to ensure software quality and reliable releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising QA personnel and ownership of testing for software releases.
Experience coordinating manual and automated testing across web apps, backend services, APIs, and relational databases.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and Kanban, risk-based testing, defect management, and release validation.
Experience using Azure DevOps, Aha, or comparable tools to manage test plans, test cases, defects, and status.
Practical knowledge of SQL for data validation and REST API testing; experience with C#/.NET apps.
Working knowledge of UI automation tools (Selenium/Playwright/Cypress) and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop QA analysts, automation analysts, and testing personnel; assign work and manage priorities.
Oversee test plans, coverage, and data for functional, regression, integration, UI, and API testing.
Coordinate QA in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release activities; flag testing dependencies early.
Guide automation for frontend and backend tests; integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Document defects with evidence, severity, and business impact; coordinate triage and retesting.
Define test entry/exit criteria and provide evidence-based release readiness recommendations.
