Job summary

OSI Group is seeking a QA Supervisor to oversee safe production and ensure compliance with quality specifications. You will lead HACCP program development, record keeping, and validation testing, while coordinating with USDA inspectors and QA leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor's in food science (or related field) and the ability to train staff, manage shifts, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, organizing and leading teams in a production or QA environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adhere to GMP/HACCP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and activities to ensure safe production meeting quality specs.
• Develop and maintain HACCP program, records, logs and validation testing schedules.
• Oversee HACCP/FOOD Safety record keeping and annual validations.
• Train HACCP team on GMP/SSOP and interact with USDA inspector as needed.
• Manage scheduling, performance, hiring, coaching, development and discipline.
• Ensure correct CCP documentation, corrective actions and recalls.
• Support continuous improvement within area of responsibility.
