Job summary

OSI Group is seeking a QA Technician to help ensure compliance with quality and food safety requirements, working directly with QA management.

The role is an individual contributor performing QA tasks, auditing, and QA sampling, with opportunities to interact with management, QA, and production, as well as officials and contractors. Requires GMP/SSOP/HACCP knowledge and 0-1 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Competence in QA transactions, in SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Understanding of GMP’s, SSOP’s, and HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

• Review QA/HACCP paperwork used in all production departments and fill out correctly.
• Interact with management, QA, and production as well as government officials and 3rd party contractors.
• Perform QA tech responsibilities for routine quality checks and audits on production, dock, and facility.
• Develop and maintain databases as needed.
• Qualified to perform QA sampling and testing methods.
