Job summary

OSI Group is seeking a QA Technician to help ensure quality and food safety compliance. You will work directly with QA management and production to review HACCP paperwork and conduct routine quality checks on the production line, dock, and facility.

You will interact with management, QA, production teams, government officials, and contractors, while developing databases and performing QA sampling and testing as needed. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Competence in QA transactions, in SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Understanding of GMP’s, SSOP’s, and HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

• Review QA/HACCP paperwork used in all production departments and fill out correctly.
• Interacting with management, QA, production, government officials and 3rd party contractors.
• Perform QA tech responsibilities for routine quality checks and audits.
• Develop and maintain databases as needed.
• Qualified to perform QA sampling and testing methods.
• Understand the processes and methods involved in food production.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment as applicable.
