Job summary

OSI Group is seeking a QA Technician to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards. You will work with QA management and interact with production teams, government officials, and contractors to uphold HACCP and GMP principles.

The role focuses on QA checks, data management, and methodological testing in a food-production environment. This position is based in Illinois and requires office/plant area presence with PPE usage.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Competence in QA transactions, in SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Understanding of GMP’s, SSOP’s, and HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

• Review QA/HACCP paperwork used in all production departments and fill out correctly.
• Interact with management, QA, and production as well as government officials and 3rd party contractors.
• Perform all QA Tech responsibilities for routine quality checks and audits on production, the dock, and the facility.
• Develop and maintain databases as needed.
• Qualified to perform QA sampling and testing methods.
• Understand of the processes and methods involved in food production.
• Follow safety procedures and policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
