Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. seeks a QA/QC Manager to lead project quality management for a data center build in Chicago.

You will implement Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up control phases, oversee the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for CSA/MEP work, and coordinate daily QA/QC activities with Ryan and trade partners to ensure safety and quality outcomes. You will review shop drawings, set expectations with trade partners, and lead site walkthroughs and periodic quality meetings with client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural, civil, structural engineering or construction management.
• 5+ years of construction quality control experience.
• Familiarity with data center construction best practices.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or equivalent safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support project quality management strategy by implementing three phases of control.
• Oversee the Project Inspection Test Plan for CSA and MEP installations.
• Coordinate and monitor daily QA/QC activities for Ryan and Trade Partner Quality Teams.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications.
• Manage the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) to log inspections and ensure timely reports.
• Participate in weekly QC meetings with partners and client representatives.
