Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a QA/QC Professional to represent the Subcontractor on all quality matters. The role requires implementing the approved Quality Assurance Plan, overseeing testing and inspections, and maintaining quality records for contract compliance.

The candidate must have seven years of QA/QC experience, CQI and CQM-C certifications, familiarity with finish standards, and moisture testing capabilities, including color vision.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of QA/QC experience.
• Current CQI certification.
• Current CQM-C certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Gypsum Association five levels of finish.
• Familiarity with hygrometer and moisture testing.
• Vision acuity of 20/40 or better and color perception.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Subcontractor on quality matters and be the primary point of coordination for QA/QC activities.
• Implement and maintain the project Quality Assurance Plan per contract requirements.
• Oversee, coordinate, and document required testing and inspections for quality compliance.
• Manage quality documentation and records to support traceability and contract compliance.
• Administer nonconformance processes: identification, documentation, tracking, and disposition of quality issues.
• Apply knowledge of finish levels when evaluating work.
• Support hygrometer and moisture testing activities as required.
