Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Professional for the Las Vegas, NV area.

The role focuses on implementing the Quality Assurance Plan, overseeing testing and inspections, and maintaining meticulous quality records for a regulatory-driven project. The ideal candidate will hold active certifications (ACI Field-Testing Technician Grade 1, CQI, CQM-C) and have seven years of QA/QC experience, including familiarity with gypsum finishes and moisture testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of QA/QC experience.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician, Grade 1 certification.
• Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.
• U.S. Army Corps of Engineers CQM-C certification or equivalent.
• Familiar with U.S. Gypsum Association five levels of finish.
• Familiarity with hygrometer and moisture testing.
• Vision acuity 20/40 or better and color perception.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Subcontractor on quality matters and coordinate QA/QC activities.
• Implement and maintain the project Quality Assurance Plan per contract requirements.
• Oversee testing and inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements.
• Manage quality documentation to ensure traceability and contract compliance.
• Administer nonconformance processes: identify, document, track, and disposition issues.
• Apply knowledge of gypsum finish levels when evaluating work.
• Support hygrometer and moisture testing activities as needed.
