Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support a high-impact program serving USSF/SSC, USAF, and other stakeholders. The role emphasizes PKI, Agile, and building quality into large SATCOM deployments within an existing infrastructure.

The successful candidate will develop and manage program processes, conduct internal audits, and lead structured process improvement initiatives, acting as a change agent with strong communication and collaboration across disciplines and locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting large-scale Agile programs.
• Experience developing QA program management plans and conducting internal process audits.
• Experience conducting peer reviews, process auditing, and/or software configuration audits.
• Experience with, or strong familiarity with, Quality Management for Software Development and IT Service Management projects.
• Experience collecting and analyzing data and developing actionable metrics and reports.
• Experience recommending, facilitating, tracking, and reporting on continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Integrate closely with the program team to implement and execute the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Recommend, facilitate, track, and report on continuous process improvement initiatives and activities.
• Support the program-specific tailoring of the QMS and the deployment and implementation of appropriate QMS processes.
• Support the development and collection of performance metrics.
• Document and drive resolution of nonconformities and requirement escapes through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Contribute to required Leidos quality reporting, including Quality Management Reviews, In Process Reviews, Weekly Activity Reports, and Monthly Operational Reviews.
