Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support a high-impact SATCOM program across USSF/SSC and USAF. You will help design, implement, and manage the Quality Management System (QMS), drive internal audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on PKI and disciplined software quality practices.

The role requires strong collaboration across disciplines, locations, and teams, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience supporting large-scale Agile programs
• Experience developing QA program management plans and audits
• Experience conducting peer reviews and software configuration audits
• Experience with Quality Management for Software Development/IT Service Management
• Experience collecting data and developing actionable metrics and reports

Responsibilities

• Integrate with the program team to implement and manage the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Recommend, facilitate, track, and report on continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Support tailoring of the QMS to the program and deployment of QMS processes.
• Develop and collect performance metrics.
• Document and drive resolution of nonconformities and requirement escapes via root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead quality reporting including QMRs, IPARs, weekly and monthly reviews.
