Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Senior Test Engineer to support a high-impact, multi-agency program for USSF/SSC, USAF and other stakeholders. You will enhance, test, and deploy a large SATCOM system within an existing infrastructure and apply PKI and Agile methods to ensure rigorous quality.

The role requires hands-on regression testing, collaboration with software and systems teams, and close interaction with customer milestones. Clearances TS/SCI with Polygraph are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; 8+ years of related engineering experience preferred.
• Experience testing across full system development life cycle and defining test plans/cases.
• Experience authoring detailed test procedures from requirements.
• Experience in formal test events: AT, UAT, Software Final Release, Maintenance Release.
• Experience collaborating with software developers to refine test procedures.
• Experience conducting regression testing on software-based systems.
• Experience with Agile Scrum practices and using automated test tools.

Responsibilities

• Define test priorities with stakeholders and align test event schedules.
• Assess tasking and resources for test environment preparation and test execution.
• Track cross-team dependencies for program release test events.
• Interface with software and systems engineers and other stakeholders in an Agile Scrum setting.
• Apply BDD practices within the Agile framework to maintain rigor and quality.
• Plan, execute, and oversee regression testing across builds and images.
• Coordinate with customer contacts for Test Readiness and Test Results Reviews.
• Develop and deliver Test Plans, Descriptions, and Reports.
• Collaborate with Automated Test Development and monitor CI pipelines.
